Founder & Managing Director, Aurelius Private
Rory McGrath is the founder and Managing Director of Aurelius Private, the non-bank private lending brokerage arm of Aurelius Capital Group. He started his career in commercial finance in New Zealand before relocating to Australia, where he founded Aurelius Capital in 2024 and launched Aurelius Private shortly after.
His focus is the origination and arrangement of private lending — structuring and placing development, construction, bridging and cashflow finance with a panel of 131+ private lenders. Deal sizes range from $100,000 to $100M+.
